My summer reading list: Tara Williams

Tara Williams
Fiction, 1st year

This summer I plan to continue to read widely, engage in more research for my thesis project, catch up on new voices, and re-read some old favorites. When not working, I’ll be up in the Sierras where the days are long, in a tent next to a campfire, with my dog and the occasional family member, taking dictation from voices in my head. Yes.

My Top Five:

Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides
Cloud Atlas by David Mitchell
Mrs. Dalloway by Virginia Woolf
The Ohlone Way: Indian Life in the San Francisco-Monterey Bay Area by Malcolm Margolin
Ashley’s War: The Untold Story of a Team of Women Soldiers on the Special Ops Battlefield by Gayle Tzemach Lemmon
