The fifth installment of the Fresno Poets’ Association 2006-07 reading series is scheduled for Thursday, March 1, with poet Bob Hicok.
Hicok is the author of five books, including the forthcoming poetry collection This Clumsy Living. His acclaimed 2001 collection Animal Soul was a finalist for the National Book Critics Circle Award. Hicok has been thrice published in the annual Best American Poetry anthologies, and has won two Pushcart Prizes and an NEA Fellowship.
The event begins at 7:30 p.m. inside the Bonner Auditorium at the Fresno Art Museum. There will be a book-signing and reception after the reading. Cost: $5 general, $4 for students. Visit FresnoPoets.org for details.
