The third installment of the Fresno Poets’ Association 2006-07 reading series is scheduled for this Thursday, Dec. 7, with poet B.H. Fairchild.
Fairchild is a celebrated contemporary American poet who was a finalist for the National Book Award for his poetry collection The Art of the Lathe. The former National Endowment for the Arts and Guggenheim fellow has published his poems in dozens of journals and magazines, including The New Yorker, Poetry, and the Best American Poems 2000 anthology.
The event begins at 7:30 p.m. inside the Bonner Auditorium at the Fresno Art Museum. There will be a book-signing and reception after the reading. Cost: $5 general, $4 for students. Visit FresnoPoets.org for details.
